Join us for our annual Songs of the Workers event as part of the 30th Annual Miners Memorial Weekend Celebrations! Kick off the weekend with a pub style evening of beers, tunes, meeting new folks and re-connecting with old friends! All are welcome. If you've never been part of Miners Memorial this is a great initiation.
Local and visiting musicians take to the stage to share working class songs old and new. Sing alongs are highly encouraged. Bring the lyrics and share them. Haul out your old Woody Guthrie or Pete Seeger tunes. We all know 'em!
Admission is by donation and all the loot goes to support the Legendary Cumberland Museum. Message [email protected] to sign up on the roster to play a few.
