Front Row Performing Arts is proud to bring Jason Robert Brown's critically acclaimed musical, Songs for a New World to the Victoria Event Centre Thursdayk Jan 7 at 7:30pm. Director Roger Carr (RENT, THE HISTORY BOYS, GREASE) of Langham Court Theatre, Victoria Operatic Society, and the Comox Valley Youth Music Centre has fashioned a deeply beautiful chamber music that is Filled with witty lyrics, intoxicating harmonies, and poignant melodies, Songs for the New World will take you on a journey through life's little hiccups, heartaches, fresh beginnings, and triumphs while trotting along the path to discovering new worlds within oneself and beyond. The cast features Alison Roberts (VOS' Gypsy, Guys and Dolls, and Will Rogers Follies), Sarah Carle (Hello Dolly, Jacques Brel), Dan Kosub and Ashley Foot and musical direction is by Kristopher Epps. Tickets $15 at the door of the Victoria Event on 1415 Broad street.
