4.30-5:30 pm Choir of Light Experience.
By donation to Bethlehem Centre.

Come along and experience this unique choir experience facilitated by counsellor, vocalist and healer, Ella Morelle. At this critical time in our planetary history, Ella’s mandate is becoming clear: to bring healing and community to people and the planet through the unifying power of sound and song. Please join her in an invigorating and fun warm-up and learn some simple rounds and chants and harmonies, ending with a direct “Threshold” experience of being sung to by choir members so that you can receive your own sound healing bath of musical vibrations! End with a “toning” exercise to send healing through sound to those who need it.

If after your experience you feel called to join the Threshold choir, there will be an opportunity to do so and you will receive $10 off the January term tuition when you sign up on the solstice!

6:30 pm Lantern-Making and The Procession Through the Labyrinth
Bring your own lantern or candle and join the procession through the labyrinth, meditating as you walk. Or make a lantern here. This is a wonderful opportunity to reflect on the past year, on letting go of what no longer serves you and visioning new growth and initiatives for the coming year, as we turn from the dark to the light, held in the safe container of the labyrinth. Holly Carnegie Letcher is a registered occupational therapist (OT) who incorporates labyrinths into her holistic practice. Writer Carol Matthews has also studied and written about labyrinths. These two guides will give a short talk about the labyrinth as a peaceful path in today’s very challenging world.
