Learn the basics of Social Media with this fun beginner’s course. We’ll explore why people use popular channels like Facebook and Twitter, explain how to set up your accounts and provide some basics on how best to use them.

This is a great course if you are brand new to social media with lots of tips for personal use, or perhaps you have been considering the potential benefits for your business? Learning how to properly use social channels as a consumer is the first step to understanding how to successfully leverage them for business. We’ll cover privacy settings, best practices and even share tips for time management, so you can be more efficient with your time spent on social media.

In partnership with CVRD Recreation Dept. MAC5 is pleased to announce these Computer Training Classes & Workshops.

All classes run 2hrs with lots of time for Q&A and are held at the Island Savings Centre in Duncan, evenings 7-9pm. Everyone is welcome (spots limited) and all classes include lots of hands-on practical tips, advice & fun! So why not bring a coffee and a Laptop or Tablet and join us?
