★SNAK THE RIPPER: Snak the Ripper raps with a voice as ugly and honest as his material. Truthful to a fault, his music scrapes the rock bottom of human nature to offer a rare glimpse into the ugly underbelly of our celebrity-obsessed society. In just three years, he has gone from a relatively unknown West Coast journeyman emcee, to a cult phenom. With millions of views on YouTube, tours in Europe and support slots with the likes of RA The Rugged Man, Sean Price, Camp Lo, Swollen Members, Cunninlynguists, Choclair, and Moka Only to name a few. His stunning rise to cult icon coincided with a life and death struggle with drug abuse.

Clinging to music as he struggled to get himself clean, he released “ The Ripper ” in 2007 and sold 2,000 copies online and at live shows. His next album “ Sex Machine ,” (2009 Camobear Records) has sold over 10,000 copies digitally, and been downloaded way more than that. In 2010, he had his first experience touring overseas, and realized how far he had come. Seven sold-out shows in Spain, with rabid devoted fans yelling word for word Snak’s lyrics, he saw he was becoming a Legend. Growing up in an isolated small town, Snak became involved in graffiti by the age of 15.

Following a freak accident with homemade explosives that nearly blinded him and severed part of his index finger, he became a social outcast. Angry and determined for the world to know his name, he pursued his passion for graffiti, vandalizing his way across Canada. At 22, he had become a homeless drunken drug-addled vandal. His friends were criminals, fiends and drug dealers and his depression spiraled. “I found myself back in my home city, with no real friends, and no belief in myself at all. I weighed 140 pounds. Rock bottom is an understatement. I looked like a skeleton with skin.” Realizing he had to change his life or die, he sought out music to save himself from himself. He not only saved his life, but also skyrocketed to popularity in the Canadian hip-hop industry.

In less than three years, Snak went from rock-bottom anonymous, to internet superhero. He spent 6 months as MySpace’s Best Canadian Hip Hop Artist and is loved on Hip Hop forums the world over. Snak : Internet Superhero Search for ‘Snak the Ripper’ on YouTube and check out his grimy street culture videos. Using his graffiti cred from years in the culture, Snak became the spokesperson for www.stompdown.ca . With 50,000 subscribers they are the second largest Canadian channel on YouTube, behind Celine Dion.

His first video “” Dangerous State/ What’s Street ” received 100,000 views in the first month of its release. Following this he made sure to connect with his rising fan base on an individual level, interacting with them in person and all over the internet. A cult has formed around this terrifically honest, brash and abrasive performer. Snak: The Ugly Truth The Rippe r is a master of cadence, tone and harmony, using his grimy vocals in all sorts of engaging ways. Backed by incredible production, each song drips with venom, an ugly duckling ready to kick the shit out of anyone looking for a swan. Snak sings like Bob Dylan, in a voice so ugly that we cannot help but feel it is our own.

With cunning dirtdog punch lines, a devious sense of humor, and the suffering soul of an everyman, Snak is a legitimate anti-hero in the making. Love songs from a man who doesn’t expect to be loved. Sex songs from a sex machine who claims he isn’t even good at sex, but still gets laid. His live show has been described as a “ shocking nightmare circus ” ( Exclaim ) and “ an unforgettable trip into darkness and debauchery ” (VICE ). He’s already infamous in North America and Europe and he’s just getting started. Highlights • His group Brass Tacksz (with Evil Ebenezer & Yung Sin ), is the only Rap group invited on Warped Tour 2010, where they will perform for crowds of 20,000 people every day. They have a featured song on the Itunes Warped Tour Compilation, and their clever T-shirts sell like hotcakes. Their debut album “the Outfit” is a topseller for CamoBearDigital, and is HipHopCanada.com March 2010 pick of the month. • Snak toured across Spain for the whole month of February 2010, and during that time recorded an EP with the stars of the Spanish Rap World. He has completed six music videos for his new EP Fear of a Snak Planet set to be released in 2010. • Performed for over 1200 fans at the Commodore Ballroom in Vancouver. • He has recently become the face and spokesman for SDK(Stompdown Killaz) • Toured with Rugged Man in 2008 Website – http://www.snaktheripper.com Youtube Videos – https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCl_Ydej82Zq4NEZnwxeaUwg Facebook – https://www.facebook.com/TheRealSnakTheRipper/

★Prada West was born with music in his soul. Since the tender age of five music has held a special place in his heart; and having a professional drummer for a father only helped contribute to the success of who Prada West is today. It was with his natural ear for music that Prada taught himself to play a wide range of instruments throughout his childhood. Although this passion stayed in his heart, failure to find his niche caused Prada’s interests to waiver. As a teenager Prada started exploring the different dynamics of the culture surrounding rap and hip hop. Exploration that was influenced in part to the Spanish and Latin Hip Hop, and West Coast Rap that he and his friends were listening to at the time. Inspired by this genre of music Prada started writing his own poems, later on transforming them into rhymes. It was then that Prada started emcee’ing and free styling occasionally at parties; but due to the lack of opportunities for growth Prada failed to take things seriously. During this time Prada went through a rough patch and was incarcerated on and off. It was during this time that Prada started writing more frequently as an outlet for dealing with his experiences. At 22 his older sister gifted Prada with a poem entitled “Peaceful Warrior.” This poem contained her personal reflections surrounding Prada’s perseverance through adversity and her views regarding his talent for writing and performing. For the first time Prada was able to see himself through the eyes of someone else, allowing him the chance to see not only his untapped talent but his potential as well. Prada was then inspired to take writing at a more serious level and in turn established his distinct style of lyricism. In 2010 to early 2011 at the age of 24, Prada started working with a rapper named Konfidential and started recording; his first performance was at age 24.

In April 2011, Prada put together a collaboration with Merkules and Konfidential entitled “No Matter Where I go,” and shortly after released the music video for it. Noticed by the founder of Ephin Apparel and of S.D.K. (StompDown Killaz a local crew of rappers based out of Surrey, B.C.), they opted to release Prada’s video on their website, and Prada’s video received an overwhelming 100,000 views. In 2012 Prada became a full blown member joining S.D.K.’s other artists Caspian, Snak the Ripper, Evil Ebenezer, and Merkules. What truly makes Prada West original is that he doesn’t feed into materialism and refuses to sugarcoat anything, unlike that of his competitors. Prada was once asked “If someone had never heard your lyrics or watched you perform what would you want them to walk away with?” His response was “If nothing else I want to be able to give them something to hold onto, something that will inspire them or something they can relate to.” “I want to give them insight on a situation that they’re going through, and I want them to see me perform again, but mostly I just want to earn their respect about what I have to say.” There is speculation from critics to why Prada West draws the attention of so many youth.

Prada attributes this to a combination of his raw lyrical content and the fact that they identify with his struggles. When Prada performs “Goin Gets Tough,” youth can be seen rapping in unison at the top of their lungs, “When the going gets tough, then the tough gets going. Even though it hurts inside, you won’t show it. You won’t be the last, cause you weren’t the first, just keep telling yourself it could always be worse.” It’s performances like this when it’s hard to distinguish who’s the performer and who’s the audience as emotions run high and lines blur.

Prada owns up to his past as much as possible and is the first to “out himself,” in regards to his choices, and various painful consequences that came along with his journey. “It’s a cold world therefore I roll alone. My trust is lost, and paranoia’s got me holding chrome. Haunted by my past, and how the passion seems to slip away my sorrow’s leads. And even stress won’t let me miss a day.” At times Prada feels the weight of the world on his shoulders, but writes these types of lyrics as he knows that they are relatable with fans, “26 but s*** I feel like I be 33, refer to me as a hustler to the 3rd degree.” For fans, and for Prada it re-affirms how life’s struggles both positive and negative have the ability to force individuals to grow up before they’re ready. Painful lyrics and painful performances at times but Prada choses to keep delivering in hopes that the message behind has the impact he’s hoping for.

Currently having toured across most of Canada, Prada has performed live over 400 times, and has released almost 2 dozen music videos on You Tube, and various other social media sites, all of which he is dominating at a rapid pace. Prada has been nominated rap/hiphop recording of the year for 2015 with the Vancouver island Music Awards. Prada has opened up for Vinnie Paz (Jedi Mind Tricks), EPMD, ILL BILL of Non Phixion, GZA, Raekwon (Wutang Clan), Dub C (Westside Connection), Bone Thugs and Harmony, Xzibit, Beatnuts, Machine Gun Kelly, Swollen Members, Warren G, Outlawz, Masta Ace, Marco Polo, Trick Trick, Celph Titled, Apathy, Bizarre, and Onyx, just to name a few. His fan base stems throughout all of North America, and most of Europe. His albums include “Lost In Thought,” “The Take Over EP,” “On The Run,” “The Versatile EP,” and “The Lost and Found EP,” “The Pitbull,” “Dog Treats,” and “Down as Ground”. Prada has another upcoming project titled “Life Behind Bars,” set to be released sometime in, May 2016. Prada West is currently producing his latest album himself at PUSH. Studios, and has entitled it “Life Behind Bars.” He has opted to collaborate with other artists on one track only, and is expecting to release it in May of 2016. Prada feels that it’s time to showcase his versatility and is doing so by writing lyrics that are his most personal yet, tracks that he feels will allow him to finally stand out more as an artist

★DJ ALL GOOD:
DJ All Good (Peter Poole) is Vancouver Island’s Premier DJ. Starting out rocking houseparties in high school, All Good carries a fun loving, anything goes type of style that always pleases. Love of great music is the foundation that his DJ house is built upon. “My DJ style is “turntablism” which is about techniques (sampling, blends, cutting etc.) applied to music using turntables. Instead of being genre specific (hip hop, rock, house etc.) I can play any type of music with the flair of a performing artist. My Philosophy is to select choice sounds, chop and mix using turntablist techniques, and serve hot & fresh on two vinyl platters.”

DJ All Good has repeatedly proven his skills in battle, most recently placing 2nd in the 2013 Western Canada DMC finals and 2nd in the 2009 Canadian National DMC finals. Another testament to his party rocking skills is placing runner-up in Victoria’s Redbull 3style battle in 2008. All Good has been invited to jam sessions with world champion Djs, including Q-bert DJ Woody and Vinroc. A highlight of his career was the chance to act as a guest teacher at Jam Master Jay’s Scratch Academy in New York City. Quickly becoming the next big thing on the scene, DJ All Good is not to be missed! Having proven himself on national and international stages, his next big project is known as “the TURNTEMPLE.” this portable, solar powered mixstation travels to music festivals, schools, and communities with a hands on approach to the preservation of vinyl based DJing techniques. Sophisticated use of samples and scratching, no sharp corners. Accessible music+Turntablist techniques= It’s All Good!
