Celebrate BC�s maritime heritage by attending the Cowichan Bay Maritime Centre�s Small Wooden Boat Festival on July 5 & 6.

The festival will feature:
Small wooden power, pulling and sailing boats displayed along the pier and docks. Vote for your favourite.
Pancake breakfast from 8 - 9:30 am on Saturday morning
Knot tying, steam bending, and steam engine demonstrations
Children�s boat building station
Face painting
Boat tours of the Cowichan estuary
Boat races - bring your dinghies, Seagull motors and lifejackets!
Live entertainment
Salmon bbq dinner at 5 pm on Saturday evening
Fast & Furious Boat Building Challenge from 10 - 2 on Sunday, July 6

For boat owners, registration is open to all wooden power, pulling and sailing vessels up to 22� in length. You can register your boat by calling 250.746.4955.
