Roger Ferguson and Mick Nicholson will present a two hour workshop in which they'll deconstruct some of their arrangements, demonstrate groove, and show how to accompany the soloist when in a small combo. They will also discuss tune selection and how to play in a variety of styles and authentic rhythms. While not a hands-on workshop, they welcome audience input and look forward lively Q&A throughout the session. Join Mick and Roger as they dig deep into the type of musical conversation that is unique to the duo setting.
