�SKY HUNTERS� - Birds of Prey

�One of my favourite subjects to paint is birds of prey. I am always struck by their piercing and focused stare and their beautiful sleek feathers. Painting owls is especially challenging due to the intricate feather patterning that gives them camouflage to hide until ready to attack. Painting an owl takes many hours of work. Many of the birds were from my visits to The Raptors in Duncan and the North Island Wildlife Recovery in Errington.�
