The Great Paper Airplane Contest:

A fun way for the whole family to support Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

Concept: Participants will fly paper airplane on a skills course for the change to win entries into prize draws.

How the contest works: Participants will line up one at a time and have a change to fly their paper airplane to win entries for the draw prizes. Getting your plane over marked lines will earn a set number of entries, having your plane land on �bonus spots� will earn additional entries.

How to Win Entries:
Participants will win entries for the draw prizes based on the following scale. Planes must completely cross lines to qualify for that level. The majority of the plane must be on a bonus spot to qualify for bonus.

Alpha line - One entry � all children categories

Bravo Line � One Entry Adult category
Two Entries all Children Categories

Charlie Line � Two Entries Adult Category
Three Entries all Children Categories

Delta Line - Three Entries Adult Category
Four Entries all Children Categories

Echo Line � Four Entries Adult Category
Five Entries all Children Categories
Foxtrot Line � Five Entries Adult Category
Six Entries all Children Categories

Bonus Spots:

Squares� 3 bonus entries

Triangle � 5 bonus entries

Draw Prizes:
Adult Category: Return flights for two from Nanaimo to Los Cabos, Mexico with Air Canada Vacations (valued at $2,000)

Fees:
Adults $5 per plane or 5 planes for $20
Children - $0.50 per plane
All Funds raised will go to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

What Plane Can I Use? You can either bring your own paper airplane or selected from one of 12 folding models we will have available. Just remember that your plane can ONLY be made out of paper and NO OTHER MATERIALS (such as glue, tape, paper clips) can be used in its construction.


Draws: Will take place at the end of this one-day event from the qualifying entries won on the skills course.
