Sing Again community choir is a fun and informal group that welcomes all voices, regardless of talent, to sing in harmony.

Sing feel-good pop songs from the 60's to today, multi-layer songs, rounds, call & echo, and world music.

Learn to harmonize by ear, and “wing it”. No experience necessary

Explore your range, and try different parts. Move while you sing!

A mix of acapella and accompaniment by ukulele (and sometimes percussion)

We are a diverse group, from “beginners” just getting comfortable letting their voice be heard, to singers with decades of experience, who enjoy an informal group where they can break free from the written notes, and improvise with harmony.

Sing Again is a proud member of the Ubuntu Choir Network, which shares the core belief that singing together is a human birthright.

We are not about performance or perfection; we are all about connection, being ourselves, being willing to make mistakes, laughing, and growing in confidence and self-expression! Rather than concerts, we put on community singalongs and invite people to join in. This is community singing!

Sylvia has a gift for creating a safe and encouraging, joyful community singing experience, and teaching harmonies by ear and heart. She also provides audio and video learning resources.

In addition to Nanaimo, Sing Again also meets every week in Parksville and Nanoose. We are drop-in friendly, and if you join as a member, you get access to all three locations for the price of one.
