Signs of Hope in Africa Presents Their 8th Annual Easter Egg Hunt!

Signs of Hope in Africa is excited to host our 8th Annual Community Easter Egg Hunt! Our event includes 3 bouncy castles, crafts, an Egg Hunt with over 23,000 chocolate eggs, face painting, carnival games, roaming super heroes, BBQ, fabulous raffle items, global music with DJ Hinga, Saanich Police and Fire vehicles, entertainment, Starbucks coffee and of course....a visit from the Easter Bunny!

Signs of Hope in Africa works hard to address the educational, health, nutritional and well being of children and families in the village of Jambiani on the island of Zanzibar in Tanzania, East Africa. We work with local leaders in the village to provide a number of programs such as our School Breakfast Program, which now feeds over 650 children Monday to Friday.

We have a Family Sponsorship program, which supports families to establish a business to become self sufficient; and last year we completed furnishing all of the primary classrooms with 4-seater desks so the students don’t have to sit dirt floors anymore. We have a number of other programs that employ locals, allowing the community to build on your contributions.
