Sidney Seaside 10K & 5K

The Sidney 10K and 5K is a family friendly running event showcasing the beauty of the Salish Sea and the relaxed seaside town atmosphere.

The 10K and 5K will start from Beacon Park at 10:00am (10:10am for the 5K) on Sunday September 24th, 2017. The route winds its way through the downtown core of Sidney to showcase local landmarks then loops back finishing along the beautiful scenic ocean walkway back at Beacon Park. The course is mainly flat with slight elevation gains, perfect for those seeking a fast course or wishing to complete their first run/walk. The kids run will utilize the same start line head up Beacon Ave to 2nd street and then wrap around the Sidney Pier Hotel onto Seaport Pl and then follows the Oceanfront path to the finish line.

Walkers/ Early Start:

Walkers are more than welcome to join the Seaside 10K festivities. Walkers and runners who plan to take over 2 hours now have an option to start at 9:00am. You must pre-register for the early start / Walkers division. At the race package pickup, it is each athlete’s responsibility to make sure if they are in the early start to be on the entry form as an “early start participant”.

Family/Group Registration:

Families of 4 or more people are eligible to register as a group to save 10% on entry fees!

Participant Swag:

All Participants in the 10K and 5K will receive a souvenir technical t-shirt, finisher medal, and food at the finish line!

Course Restrictions:

Baby Joggers and animals are not allowed to participate in the Seaside 10K due to safety reasons.

Due to road closures and access, there is a 3 hour cut off time for the event.
