The Sidney and Peninsula Literary Festival Spring Reading Series continues with an evening with authors Tilar Mazzeo and C.C. Humphreys, at the Shoal Centre, 10030 Resthaven Drive, Sidney (doors open at 6:30).
Dr. Tilar Mazzeo is the author of numerous works of narrative nonfiction, and several of her books have been New York Times, San Francisco Chronicle, and Los Angeles Times bestsellers. Her latest book, Irena’s Children, is the remarkable history of a “female Schindler,” Irena Sendler (1910-2008), who saved more than 2,500 Jewish children from the Nazis.
Chris (C.C.) Humphreys is an actor and writer of historical novels.His newest book is Fire, a thrilling reimagining of the events of the 1666 Great Fire of London.
