The adventurous pair Thorsten Boehnke and Laura Winter make the jump from hitchhikers to boat owners. They explore the southern Caribbean on their sailboat Corinthian, visiting conservation projects, nature reserves, and endangered species to raise awareness of the beauty of nature and the challenges facing the environment. Through the films that they shoot, they share the stories of people working to protect the environment. Their means of transportation: the 40-foot sailing vessel Corinthian.
A Q&A with the filmmaker will follow the screening.
