Canadian Pacific Ballet brings to the historic Supreme Court Room a set of innovative new works designed especially to accommodate the intimate setting that is the third floor of the Museum. Celebrated choreographer Roberta Taylor has created a varied repertoire for the evening that will showcase the exceptional skills of Canadian Pacific Ballet�s professional dance artists in three new works. Included in the new repertoire is a romantic style piece to the music of Schumann, and, to the music of Mahalia Jackson, a tribute to three famous unsolved murders tried in that very courtroom. Unsurpassed costume designs by internationally acclaimed Canadian designer Graham McMonagle of The Wardrobe Shop will allow the 100 audience members sitting in the grand jury boxes and the courtroom benches an exclusive opportunity to be closer to the dancing than ever before.
