Shoreline Musical Theatre presents The Sound of Music for four shows of wonderful family entertainment. The story involves a young nun, Maria, becoming governess to the seven children of the Von Trapp family in 1930's Austria.
The music, by Richard Rodgers with lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein, includes several popular songs, such as "Edelweiss", "Climb Every Mountain", and the title song, "The Sound of Music".
