Start with observational drawing exercises of found algae, seagrass, kelp and more. Archived dried samples of marine plants will also be used to inform the drawings and watercolour sketches. Combining observation and imagination, create a series of gestural watercolours that speak to the intersection of marine biology and art! This is one of two evenings of Shoreline Botanicals inspired by Diyan Achjadi’s solo exhibition Carried Through the Water. Sign up for one or both!
