This Shibori workshop is a social and creative, project based workshop where you’ll be introduced to Nui Shibori, the Japanese Art of stitched resist dyeing on a square pillow cover and then dipping it in an Indigo natural dye Vat. Stitching affords flexibility and control to create designs of great variety, delicate or bold, simple or complex, pictorial or abstract.

Sunday March 10: You'll have class time to decide on a pattern then learn how to stitch and pull your threads so they are tight and secure.

Friday March 15: Bring your fully stitched pieces back for a social evening of dipping!
