Shari is a Juno award winner and BC Entertainment Hall of Fame Inductee - an unflagging fixture in Canadian music since the early 70�s. Shari is an award winning songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, playing violin, piano, guitar, mandolin, and dulcimer. She will be accompanied by her daughter Julia Graff on violin, piano, guitar, accordion and vocals and Julia�s McGill classmate Ted Littlemore on piano, accordion and vocals. She�s been a member of the Pied Pumkin, The Hometown Band, Ulrich Henderson Forbes, and performs with Barney Bentall & Tom Taylor, and the High Bar Gang. She was first heard in Victoria at the Belfry Theatre with the quirky and eternally orange Pied Pumkin playing fiddle, mandolin, dulcimer, flute & sax in 1974. Her defection to the Hometown Band and a high profile launch to national recognition sparked her solo career as a singer songwriter. Her recent release, �Find Our Way�, is her 7th solo album, and her 19th including her work with Pied Pumkin, UHF, and her recent collaboration with Barney Bentall & Tom Taylor. Her live concerts in the past 8 years, as well as her new CD have been enhanced by the contribution of her daughter Julia Graff on violin, piano, guitar, accordion and vocals. Julia, heading into her final year at McGill, has joined Shari in her summer of touring, along with McGill classmate Ted Littlemore on piano, accordion and vocals. They first met in piano class on Bowen Island when they were five years old. Their talent is remarkable and a wonderful addition to Shari�s concerts both for her and the audience. Shari has performed at the Literacy Canada benefits at the Belfry for the last two years � first with Barney Bentall and Tom Taylor, and recently with their Bluegrass Band �The High Bar Gang�. Shari just couldn�t finish the year of touring without a Shari show at the Belfry!
