Follow the adventurous dreams of a young boy, accompanied with acrobatic feats and lively music, as he enters a world of fantasy. The acrobatic scenes celebrate and tell a story that starts on the sea and ends in the Shanghai countryside.
The Shanghai Acrobats of the People’s Republic of China debut their new program “Shanghai Nights!!” This brand new show features forty of China’s top acrobats, blending breath-taking excitement with beautiful elegance. The stories presented are told through the beauty of movement, music and color, each highlighting the wonderfully diverse nature of Shanghai. Hoop diving, foot juggling, and plate spinning are just some of the many draw-dropping talents in this show.
The company of Shanghai Acrobats of the People’s Republic of China 2016 was founded in 1959. After more than 50 years it has become one of the most influential and competitive acrobatic companies in China, and has won many awards at acrobatic and circus competitions at home and abroad.
