Set in the vibrant Vancouver Island music scene, independent band SHALE is the musical culmination of Kiarra O’Connor (vocals), Lorenzo Fe (bass and guitar), Rowan Hensley (keys), and Michael Voytash (drums). With influences of R&B, Rock, and Jazz, SHALE’s one-of-a-kind sound is deep without darkness, bold without boasting and organic without crunchy granola.
With collective backgrounds in classical music, dance, choral performance, and sound engineering, the members of SHALE are a creative force in the studio, but truly come alive on the stage. SHALE’s debut studio album is scheduled for release fall 2019. In the interim you’ll find SHALE on the stage at venues across Vancouver Island and beyond, gripping the crowd with an earnest and captivating show.
