Share the Christmas spirit with friends at an old fashioned carol sing. Then warm your bones with cookies and cocoa before you head home. No cost to attend - although donations for the food bank will be cheerfully accepted. Known throughout Victoria, local Saanich Peninsula band, Shady Mountain, plays old timey gospel and mountain music. It’s music to tap your foot to; music that wants to stand up by itself; music with a twang.
The Carol Sing is a mix of performance pieces by the band and carol requests by the audience. Lively and fun, even Scrooge enjoys a night out with Shady Mountain. Cordova Bay United Church 813 Claremont Avenue.
