Have you always wanted to learn how to sew? We are offering a 3 day sewing boot camp for adults this summer to help get you going. Repetition is so important in learning any new skill, so practicing your sewing 3 evenings in a row will help to cement what you have learned and open new doors to your creativity!

Plus you will get to leave with 2 things that you've made, one to wear and one to use!

Tuesday - Introduction to the sewing machine - making a custom designed reversible tote bag

You will learn how to thread your machine, wind bobbins, sew straight lines and use reverse as well as exploring our fun embroidery stitches. You will leave with your brand new tote bag made 100% by you!

Wednesday / Thursday - Designing and making a simple A-line skirt

Please note that you will need to bring your skirt fabric on the Wednesday evening. We recommend using a light to medium weight cotton for your skirt. We recommend buying 1.5 meters for a knee length version - if you would like to make a longer skirt please let us know in advance so we can work out how much you will need!

Maximum of 6 students so you will receive plenty of 1-1 instruction.

Fee: $125 [includes materials apart from skirt fabric]

The group size will be a maximum of 6 people so there is plenty of one to one help.

All materials and equipment are provided for each and every project. We encourage you to bring snacks as it's much easier to be creative when you have fuel for the brain! We provide water and herbal teas [or coffee if you so desire!].
