add to outlook add to google calendar remind me
After a highly successful debut at Zocalos when they played to a full house in march, Serendipity Jazz will be returning to Zocalos on August 18th. Serendipity Jazz are vocalist Jacqueline Lambeth with Ken Newman on piano. We are delighted to be joined this time by Al West on bass. Al West is a well respected, accomplished and versatile bass player who has played in countless ensembles and house bands in Musical Theater productions throughout the valley, most recently in Les Miserables.
The evenings entertainment will include many Jazz standards from the 1920's through 1940's featuring well loved composers Jerome Kern, George Gershwin, Irving Berlin, and Duke Ellington to name a few. There will be some fun surprises as well as songs made popular by Ella Fitzgerald, Judy Garland and Edith Piaf.
