Seminar for Stratas: Depreciation Reports, 3 Years Later

VISOA (The Vancouver Island Strata Owners Association) presents several seminars each year to inform and educate strata councils and owners. Depreciation Reports have been mandatory for most BC stratas (such as condos and townhouses) since 2013. Most stratas are now approaching the required three-year update and may be unsure of how to proceed.

Guest speaker John Grubb of Unity Services Corporation will speak about: * the importance of the update * why the BC government requires it * why the time frame is three years * whether (or not!) to defer * why to use the same Depreciation Report provider * when to select a new Depreciation Report provider But more importantly: What are you doing with your Depreciation Report?

John will also answer your questions about your strata's long term maintenance planning.

There is no charge for pre-registered VISOA members.

A non-member may pre-register at a cost of $20. Tickets at the door are $10 for members, $30 for non-members. Memberships will also be available at the door. Pre-registration is open until May 25. Click the event website.
