Sean Drabitt Quartet - Music Inspired by Jaco Pastorius Join us for an exciting evening of jazz music with bassist SEAN DRABITT who will be performing with his Quartet and playing music inspired by the compositions of Jaco Pastorius.
This event will be recorded live, so bring along your very best cheers. Sean Drabitt is one of the most respected jazz bass players playing in Canada today and excels both in acoustic and electric bass.
After a decade in New Orleans where he worked with all members of the Marsalis family, then in New York, working with the best young players on the modern jazz scene, Kurt Rosenwinkel, Mark Turner, Eric Harland and Ari Honig among them, Sean returned to Canada where he has been in demand as one of the busiest players on the scene. Sean is joined on this musical venture by ANDREW GREENWOOD (saxes), BRENT JARVIS (keyboards), HANS VERHOEVEN (drums).
This is sure to be an exciting and memorable evening.
