This Friday, December 6th, is the annual Sea of Lights; a floating parade of boats decorated with Christmas lights and organized by the Royal Victoria Yacht Club. Best viewing locations:
7 pm - Cattle Point
7:15 pm - Willows Beach
7:45 pm - Gyro Park, Cadboro Bay
Starbucks will be at Gyro Park for the fifth year in a row handing out hot coffee right on the beach in exchange for donations of cash or non-perishable foods for the Salvation Army Food Bank. The 12th Gary Oak Sea Scouts will also be there, helping the Salvation Army bus with hot chocolate and also accepting donations.
Dress warmly and bring a flash light!
