Explore RDN parks and protected areas with Nanaimo Science’s outreach educators. These all-ages parent participation free drop-in events will have you exploring your parks with nature hikes, explorations of local flora and fauna, science games and art projects. Learn about decomposers and mycology: learn the mushroom anatomy, how to identify some different mushrooms and take a closer look with a microscope.
