Come to the Cedar Hill Rec Center to explore the mystery of Japan through amazing photographs taken by Toshiyasu Sajita.
The subject of the display will be varied and unique.Through these incredible photographs we will be instantly transported to the tops of 3,000 meter high mountains where we will get a misty view of the famous Mt. Fuji, or we can enter a Shinto shrine with mysterious Buddhist traditions that transform us into the spirit world. And finally we will see photos of Japanese festivals like 'Hanami' where Japanese people everywhere celebrate the season of cherry blossoms, and celebrate beautiful traditions.
Come to the "meet the artist" evenings, Aug. 8 & 12 from 7 pm - 9 pm. and have the artist himself describe first hand the meanings behind his photographs, thereby unlocking some of the mystery of Japanese culture!
