Art Play with Clay
Do you like to "think" with your hands... while shaping, moulding and playing with clay?
That's what this Saturday Studio is all about! We'll look at 3-dimensional artworks from the campus gallery's Reconciling Self | Connie Watts exhibition and get inspired to create. This clay does not require a kiln to dry, so students can sculpt, paint and take home to enjoy!

Nanaimo Art Gallery offers unique art classes and activities for children, ages 5-11 on select Saturdays from 10:30am until noon. A fantastic opportunity to engage and inspire young artists! All education activities take place at Art Lab, Nanaimo Art Gallery�s new education space at 150 Commercial Street

If you have a LEAP card your child may be eligibe for a bursary! Two LEAP spots are available each week; one per family. Each family is welcome to use up to 2 LEAP spots per month.
Maximum program enrolment is 16 students. All phone reservations must be paid prior to 5 pm the Friday before Saturday Studio. Walk-in payments are accepted until 10:15am Saturday if there is still space.
