Forensic entomology is the study of insects associated with a dead body in order to estimate the elapsed time since death. This talk will explain how insects can be used to estimate time of death, as well as other factors sch as position and presence of wounds, analysis of poaching cases etc. True case histories will be used to illustrate the science. CAUTION � graphic images, not suitable for children.

Saturday, October 26, from 10am - 12pm at the VIU Parksville Campus, The Forum, Main Floor, Parksville, Civic and Technology Center, 100 Jensen Avenue East.
