Highway 19 Concerts presents two-time Western Canadian Music Award winning singer-songwriter-composer-producer Sarah MacDougall for an intimate performance at Rivercity Stage. Raised in Sweden and based in Whitehorse MacDougall has toured and performed extensively across Canada and Europe with artists such as Cat Empire, Passenger, Dan Mangan and Amelia Curran. Along with multi-instrumentalist Chris Wong, MacDougall will perform songs from her fourth and latest album All The Hours I Have Left To Tell You Anything which was produced by Montreal’s Marcus Paquin (Stars, the Barr Brothers, Timbre Timbre, Arcade Fire, The National). The album was written in the midst of the death of MacDougall’s grandparents, the birth of a niece, and a break up and features nine songs about strength, identity, death, the breakdown of relationships, birth, and the ghosts we honour and carry throughout all influenced by the vastness of the Yukon landscape and the dark beauty of Scandinavia.
