Samhain Ritual and Feast Of The Dead

We will take a guided meditation journey beyond the veil that separates the worlds, to a place where we can touch the spirits of our ancestors and departed loved ones.

(Remember to bring a blanket or pillow if you wish to lie on the floor during the guided meditation.)

Please feel free to bring a memento (photo or other item) of your departed one to be placed on the altar to the dead.

After the main ritual, join us for the potluck Feast of The Dead and in welcoming in the Pagan New Year.

A reminder to parents that a Samhain ritual can be a very emotional and sometime overwhelming experience, especially for the very young children who may not completely understand what Samhain is about.

IMPORTANT NOTACE*

The circle welcomes families and children to all public rituals and services with the exception of the once yearly Samhain guided meditation. During this once per year event we provide and space with activates for the small children so that the adults and older children can experience the meditation without distraction.

Regrettably, our usual location for winter ritual was not available for rental, so we will be holding Samhain at the Kin Hut at Departure Bay. The Kin Hut is a single
room hall, and this means we will not have a space to provide alternate activates for the small children during the guided meditation this year.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and we will be seeking an alternate location for next years Samhain.

However, the children are most welcome to join us for the feast after the main ritual.
