ArtSea Community Arts Council is excited to present the 2022 Salish Sea Lantern Festival - an annual celebration of art, culture, light, and community happening on the Saanich Peninsula (and beyond)!
This year, the evening will commence with live performances and interactive costumed characters, and conclude with a community lantern parade along the Sidney waterfront. Enjoy:
• Live performances by Daniel Cook & the Radiators, as well as the Uminari Taiko Drumming Ensemble, starting at 7:30pm
• Interact with live costumed characters and performers
• Create a lantern in memory of a time, person, pet, or place at the new Memory Lantern Station
• Join the lantern parade at 8:45 (parade route is available on the website and the Salish Sea Lantern Festival Interactive Map).
• Follow @ArtSeaCommunityArtsCouncil on Facebook, Instagram on Twitter (#ArtSeaCAC) to see photos and live posts from the evening festival celebration.
• Enjoy large-scale illuminated lantern installations along the Sidney Waterfront Walkway and Sidney Fishing Pier.
