Take the first step and join us on Sunday, June 15th, 2014 for an amazing morning with your family and friends!

This morning event is a great way to jump-start your Father�s Day and to honour dads everywhere. This June, start a new tradition � or build on the success you�ve had in the past � by bringing together your family and friends to celebrate the important men in your life and to help find a cure for prostate cancer.

Choose from an invigorating 8 km run or walk through the stunning forest on the Royal Roads grounds, or bring along the whole gang for the pleasant 3 km family fun stroll. We have new activities planned for the zany KidsZone, a hot pre-event warm-up, great prizes to be won, and everyone gets a BBQ lunch after the race to get you re-energized for the rest of the day!

Every day, guys in our community � fathers, brothers, uncles, grandfathers and sons - are living with the reality that this disease affects 1 in 7 men. Think about your circle of family and friends. One or more of them is likely to face a diagnosis.

By joining with us for the Safeway Father�s Day Walk/Run, you�ll be raising money that stays here on the island to provide front-line services and support that will help the whole family get back on the road to health.
