BC Heritage Week 2015 is February 16-22, and this year's theme is "Main Street: At the Heart of the Community". Saanich does not have a singular Main Street, but rather grew up around distinct gathering places that became the local areas that we enjoy today. Saanich Archives is pleased to once again partner with the Greater Victoria Public Library to present a Heritage Week speaker. Join us as Nick Russell, author of Victoria Then & Now: Postcards from the Past, takes us on a trip through Saanich using historic postcards. Learn about the Municipality's unique neighbourhoods and how they have -- or haven't -- changed.
