FIELDTRIPPERS: Walking Victoria's Great War Join Royal BC Museum Associate Registrar, and Military and Home Front Historian, Paul Ferguson on a two hour, three kilometer traipse about Victoria to discover this city’s connection to World War I. We’ll stop at significant buildings and locations and end up at the BC Legislative buildings.
Wear suitable footwear and be prepared for rain.
November 24 I Ages 12 and up.
Meet at the base of the carillon at the corner of Government and Belleville street.

FIELDTRIPPERS: Sex in the Sand
Join Heidi Gartner, invertebrates collection manager, Dr. Joel Gibson, curator of entomology and a CRD Regional Parks Interpreter to learn about the fascinating world of invertebrate reproduction. We'll search the rare dune environment and intertidal zone for flying and marine invertebrates. You can leave your (nature-nerd) hat on! Wear suitable footwear and be prepared for rain. February 24 I Ages 14 and up.
