Rotary Club of Victoria-Harbourside Annual Garage Sale

The success of this event is made possible by the generous donations of your excess stuff that needs to find a new home. This is a large gym and we get big crowds so the more we have the greater our fund raising success.

Funds raised through the garage sale help to support community projects funded through our club. In the past we have provided funding to some of the following groups:

• Breakfast programs and local schools

• Mustard Seed

• Transition House

• Power to Be

• Victoria High School

• Threshold Housing

• Quadra Village Community Centre

• Hero Work

• Our Place

• And many more that you can find on our website at www.harboursiderotary.org

We collect goods that are in good, clean condition and we ask that they be dropped off at the school on the Thursday or Friday. We cannot take any goods the day of the sale. While we accept most items there are some things we cannot take.

Here is the list of items we cannot take;

• Safety-regulated kids equipment such as strollers, car seats, high chairs, cribs, sport helmets

• Major appliances, large tv’s, VCR’s, PVR’s, sofas, mattresses, box springs, TV stands, exercise equipment, golf clubs and skis

• No magazines, text books, Readers Digest, Atlas books

There are many items you can donate and we accept items that are clean and in good condition in the following areas;

• Books, Luggage, Electronics, Household, Small appliances, Linens

• Toys, Clothes, Sporting Goods, Garden Tools, Tools, Art, Holiday, and Jewelry

• Furniture (lamps, side tables, bar stools, coffee tables, small chairs ,patio furniture
