Are you keen to play Tennis? The Rogers Rookie Tour Tournament is the perfect start for you. This tournament, hosted by Kazue Fujiki, Nanaimo Building Tennis Community champion, will be held in Nanaimo at the Beban Park Tennis courts. This beginners� tournament, for kids ages U9-U14years (9-14) ensures a positive experience for your children by guaranteeing at least 3 matches, and a player package with snacks to fuel the game! Amongst a supportive group of piers and volunteers, this is the perfect opportunity for kids with little experience at competitive tennis to test the waters!
Do not feel pressured to have perfect tennis technique. Underhand or overhand serves are fine, and if necessary, volunteers can start off the point. This is meant to be a fun experience, not stressful! Everyone is welcome to come watch and support his or her children participating! Join us, Sunday, September 7thfrom Between 9am-3pm at the Beban Tennis courts for an entry fee of $20.
