Miriam O is a biologist with the Department of Fisheries and Oceans Canada. She has worked in the marine mammal research group, the geoduck stock assessment group, and is currently working on Marine Protected Areas and ecosystem-based research. She will speak about the ongoing work within the department to develop research and monitoring plans for Marine Protected Areas and Large Ocean Management Areas.
