Return to the Forest� is the heartfelt story of the Elephant Reintroduction Foundation and its mission to return captive elephants to the wild, saving them from abuse, exploitation and extinction. Released on the first-ever World Elephant Day, August 12, 2012 as part of an international awareness campaign to inform the public about the urgent plight of Asian and African elephants, the film and campaign was commissioned and supported by the Elephant Reintroduction Foundation in Thailand, a Royal initiative of HM Queen Sirikit of Thailand and developed by Canadian, Patricia Sims of Canazwest Pictures Inc.
