First Metropolitan United Church and the North Park Neighbourhood Association are holding a free Repair Cafe for Saturday, March 26, from 10am-2pm in the First Met Fellowship Hall, 932 Balmoral Rd.

Repair cafes are positive, friendly and interesting opportunities to help people repair and re-use small household items and materials for free rather than throwing them away and having to replace them. Many things which have hardly anything wrong with them can be easily used again after a simple repair.

Volunteers are available to help fix such things as small appliances, electronics, torn or ripped clothing, almost anything that is broken and is repairable. And you don’t need to bring any tools (although you can)! You can also learn by watching, or even helping, while enjoying a cup of tea or coffee.
