Remembrance Day Service & Parade

10:30 AM to 12:00 PM

10:15 am - Anyone wishing to march in the parade, meet at the Liquor Store parking lot at the corner of Primrose & Fern St. by 10:15. Veterans and Legion Members with or without uniforms are all welcome to march in the parade.

10:30 am - For those veterans who are not able to march in the parade, there will be a complimentary bus leaving the Legion for the Civic Centre at 10:30 am. There will be reserved seating for all veterans at the Civic Centre.

10:30 am - Parade proceeds along 2nd Ave. to Jones St. and to the Civic Centre.

11:00 am - Remembrance Service at the Civic Centre. Reserved seating for all veterans. Parade after the service from the Civic Centre to the Legion. For those veterans not able to march, the complimentary bus will return to the Legion directly after the Service.

12:30 pm -The public is invited to join us at the Qualicum Beach Legion for a reception. Food generously provided by Qualicum Foods.

Candlelight Tribute Ceremony is the day before on Saturday, November 10th at 4:00pm

Place: Qualicum Beach Legion Cenotaph, 180 Veterans Way
Details: Members of the public are welcome to purchase candles & lay them during the ceremony. Candles are available at Branch 76, Qualicum Beach from Friday, October 26th – Friday, November 9th. Candles are $3.50 each.
If you can’t attend the Tribute ceremony to lay your candle at the cenotaph, you can request the Legion to do it on your behalf.
