Come Celebrate the loves of Veterans from our community. The Mary Windspear Community Cultural Centre is holding an Official Remembrance Day Ceremony from 9:00 am to 11:00 am - November 11, 2012 (prior to the Remembrance Day Parade).
The Memorial Fountain, outside The Mary Windspear Centre stands as a remembrance of local Veterans who lost their lives and who served in times of war and peace.
Research funded by Veterans Affairs Canada reveals what life was like during times of war. With help from the ANAVETS - Unit # 302, a new exhibit depicting the lives of our Veterans and their families is being unveiled at the official ceremony.
