REENIE (Reenie Perkovic) is a Toronto-based musician and composer who writes and arranges honest songs with a soulful edge that is fun and introspective all at once. Drawing from a diverse set of influences, her music manifests in sweeping textures and colours within a rhythm section, brass, and strings.
REENIE spent the summer of 2015 touring coast-to-coast across Canada, including stops at renowned festivals (CMW, Beaches Jazz, Pride). She recently recorded a full-band EP of all new songs (partially funded by FACTOR), to be released in Feb 2016. http://www.listentoreenie.com/
