Owen Underhill is active as a composer, conductor, artistic director and faculty member in the School for Contemporary Arts at Simon Fraser University.
Daniel Tones is an award-winning percussionist currently teaching at Kwantlen Polytechnic University.
With a history of collaborations over more than 15 years, they have collectively commissioned, premiered, composed and conducted dozens of new Canadian works. This unique duo, both guests of UVic’s Orion Series in Fine Arts, performs music by Underhill, Javier Alvarez, Frederic Rzewski, Mark Applebaum and others.
