RCMP - COMMUNITY Town Hall Meeting – North Cowichan-Duncan and Cowichan Community Policing Advisory Society are hosting a Town Hall style meeting for local residents to learn about the Annual Performance Plan (strategic plan) and to hear about Crime Statistics for the areas. This is also an opportunity for residents to ask the police questions and to have their say in the development of their strategic plan.
Who: Detachment Commander:Insp. Chris Bear will be joined by members of the Management Team and Directors of the Community Policing Advisory Society.
When: Tuesday, February 27th, 2018 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. (doors open 6pm - come early for light refreshments and mingle with your neighbours) at the Chemainus Legion (Chemainus)
and/or Thursday March 1st 6:30-8:30pm (again doors open 6pm) at Island Saving Centre Duncan.
What: Hear about what the police are doing in your community and some of the strategies that they use to combat crime. They would like your input and want to be able to address and discuss your questions and concerns about your police service delivery.
Also hear about ways you can be involved with the Community Advisory Society and keep connected for updates and continued involvment.
