Range Orientation for Women
add to outlook add to google calendar remind me
Free two-hour information session (with optional practice shooting) for any woman interested in getting her firearms license (PAL/RPAL), or just curious about what goes on at the range.
Women are the fastest growing demographic in Canada of firearms owners, competitors, and new firearms licenses, following in the footsteps of famous Canadian shooting legends Susan Nattrass, Cynthia Meyer, Linda Thom, and Lynda Kiejko – all the way back to Madeleine de Verchères.
If the shooting sports interest you, or if you simply want to gain some basic competence and confidence with the safe handling of firearms, your first step is to get your firearms license.
All women are welcome to attend this two-hour information session where you will find out:
* What goes on at the range.
* Who to call to book your seat in a local PAL/RPAL course for your license.
* What the PAL course entails.
* Basic range safety rules.
You'll also have a chance to try a couple of firearms with supervision and guidance, so bring some loonies for ammunition.
And bring ear protection and eye protection for the range.
