RAISE THE CURTAIN THEATRE FUNDRAISER will feature 3 exciting acts: COMMON GROUND is a local trio whose music is a blend of folk and indie rock. With their instrumentation including guitar, violin and ukulele and 3 part vocal harmonies, COMMON GROUND brings a unique approach to both cover and original songs.
TRISTAN THOMPSON is a 17 year old Victoria native and an exuberant, soulful singer with a bent towards electronic, dance-oriented R&B. Chatter Records released his début album "Here For You" and his first single "Tidal Wave" took radio by storm. Tristan Thompson has been named Bell Media's "Future Star".
THE CRAIG HENDERSON TRIO's sound can best be described as a throwback to the popular music of the 1940's and '50's. With Craig Henderson on piano and vocals, Gordon Henderson on guitar and Bill Kent on bass, they are heavily inspired by the music of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Tony Bennett. Available for weddings and corporate events, Craig Henderson is a regular performer at the Bengal Lounge at the Victoria Fairmont Empress.
