Rainwater Harvesting Integrated Design Workshop

This workshop will help you get started designing a rainwater harvesting system for your household. We will cover site assessment, water budgeting, design work, and evaluation of different systems.
We will be doing hands-on design work, so please bring a plan view of your property if possible. The CRD Natural Areas Atlas is a great resource for accessing plan views if you don't have one already. If you aren't able to put together a plan view of your site we will have sample ones available so you can still work on your rainwater harvesting design skills.
If you'd like to do some research before the workshop, we recommend Brad Lancaster's Rainwater Harvesting for Drylands and Beyond.
Presenter Bio: Doug Mutch has his Water Harvesting Certification through the Watershed Management Group out of Tucson, AZ as well as a Permaculture Design Certificate and a Permaculture Teaching Certificate.
